"BRAZIL 500 YEARS"

I read "BRAZIL 500 YEARS."
Main character is a Portuguese Afonso Ribeiro.
He loved his wife and children.
He worked for them everyday in his bar.
One day, suddenly there was a lot of noise in the bar.
Five men started fight the men with near them.
Afonso and his friend went quickly to the door but a man hit Afonso.
He hit the man on the head with a bottle.
The man was dead.
The police desided that Afonso went to Brazil and lived there.
He was shoked very much because he was going to live away from dear family.
He went to Brazil by Portuguese king's ship.
The ship's purpose was making a voyage to a new land.
After he reached Brazil, he made friends.
People were very kind but he want to be his family.
Two years later, he went back Portugal by king's ship.
He telled king about the new land.
He got a lot of money and he took back his happiness!
